Lamb

Breaded Lamb Chops :

8 lamb chops

2 eggs beaten

2 cups bread crumbs

salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp oil

1 cup flour

In one bowl add beaten eggs and in another bowl add bread crumbs. Place pork chops in the egg mixture one at a time fully coating both sides.Next place in the bread crumb mixture .When they are all coated place in a hot skillet with the oil cook for about 10 mins on medium heat or until browned . Cover with a white sauce this is optional .Recipe as follows.

White sauce 1 cup milk , 2 tbsp flour and 2 tbsp butter mix in a sauce pan until thickened .

Lamb Stew :

3 pounds of lamb

3 tbsp oil

2 tbsp onion powder or 1 diced onion

2 turnip sliced

2 potatoes potatoes

salt and pepper to taste

1 cup mixed vegetables

Cut up roast into cubes about 1 to 2 inches roll in flour .In a sauce pan over medium heat onion cook until caramelized then add lamb . When browned remove from heat .In a soup pot add about 10 cups of water put lamb and onions into pot then add remaining vegetables and salt and pepper . Let simmer for about 30 mins .If you want a thicker soup then mix 1 cup water and about 1/2 cup flour mix well then add to soup let thicken for about 15 mins or until thickened .
